MLK GYMRATS TOURNAMENT 2020 CHAMPIONS
COACHES CORNER BIO
Bobby C. Thomas is a Math and Science Teacher at Vanguard Collegiate of Indianapolis. He is excited to help educate and grow his scholars’ academically and foster their character development. Coach Thomas brings with him an engineering background, having worked in the field for years prior to transitioning to teaching. Coach Thomas volunteers as a basketball coach for Team Teague Foundation Class of 2028 AAU Traveling Basketball Team. In addition too AAU he has coached at the Middle School & High School Levels over the past 7 years. Most recently his team finished #7 at AAU Nationals this past season with only 5 players. In 2018 with our 2027 Group he won a national title and with 2028 won the Classic Bracket Championship at AAU Nationals. In 2017 Coach Johnson (Current Team Teague 2027 Black) and Coach Thomas led our 2026 group to a 2nd place finish at nationals.
